Micah Omega has been playing and writing songs in various bands in Texas for over 15 years, before deciding to become a solo artist in his own right, which he has been doing since 2006...Micah dabbles in many various musical styles but much of his material reflects his love for 80's new wave and 70's punk rock and expirimental avant guarde music, though the music created through various electronic music sequencers which he was expirimented with since 1995. Micah has played live shows solo and callaborated with friends in bands such as Micah Omega and the Mutations as well as Micah Omega and the Neon Knights, playing revised editions of his songs. Micah has exipienced much personal loss and mental illness since 2005, from the loss of his family and the loss of his brother Eric who was his musical writing partner and guitarist who played with him in various punk and metal bands since the late 80's and early 90's, thus Micah took on the name Omega signifying (the end or the last)...as Micah is the last of his family line. Micah Omega is now in full effect though and much planned for 2010 as music to him is not about becoming famous or getting girls, it is about art, feeling and dedication and has been his obsession for most of his life.
